Guerrilla Marketing - "Idea makes the difference"

Guerrilla marketing is an unconventional form of advertising intended to get maximum results from minimal resources exploiting creativity, buzz and word to mouth techniques.
To achieve this aim some features are needed:
- Rouse curiosity, intrigue and involve ("the surprise effect"). Both the message and the chosen media have to be peculiar in order to astonish the customer and draw his attention. The whole system is based on creativity and skill to create something innovative and impressing;
- Guerrilla Marketing makes people talk about ("viral diffusion"). Thanks to its originality and the surprise effect, the message is endowed with strong viral elements and tends to spread, in particular situations, even through the traditional mass media like TV, radio and newspapers;
- Involvement ("the community effect"). This is probably the most difficult part that is the maintenance of the message by creating dedicated on line communities. The main goal is to make people feel a part of the community.
